Since I've started playing with Newsvine I've been thinking about what could I do to present a voice to readers? I mean what have I got that would make you want to sit down and read something I might say? There are thousands of blogs, tons of folks whom you'll find all kinds of interesting factoids, tidbits, and other things worth reading about on hundreds of topics. It all boils down for me to a few things. I tend to have tons of ideas. Ideas for everything from having unique tones in elevators so you can know what floor you are at just by hearing the tone, to ideas about combining two technologies that have yet to meet in interesting ways. Plus I'm an avid gamer and love to find ways to combine gaming concepts into "real world" applications. So, what will you find here? Cool ideas for combining gaming, dhtml, the web, and social software into something radically new. Plus probably news about cool tech.

Anyway - I hope you find it interesting.

I was talking about this - the rendez-vous between social networks, content agregators and immersion interfaces (a.k.a. games). It was beautiful. Curiously me and the friends in question just discovered NewsWine. I think we have a lot of ideas to share about the topic.

As we say here.... vamoquevamo. (translates roughly from portuguese as "lets go like we go"... well... VERY roughly) :)
